VersaTrans Solutions Releases VersaTrans RP Product Suite 9.12
Latest Version Becomes More Powerful with the Addition of Cutting- Edge Technology

Albany, NY - September 30, 2008 - VersaTrans Solutions recently released version 9.12 of its integrated suite of products for the K-12 transportation management industry: VersaTrans RP ® , VersaTrans e-Link ® , VersaTrans SIF Agent TM , VersaTrans FleetVision ® , and VersaTrans TripTracker ® . VersaTrans RP 9.12 now gives VersaTrans OnScreen ® customers the ability to automatically create new routes based on data from GPS hardware receivers. VersaTrans RP 9.12 also contains two new routing features: the Express Schools feature automatically routes to more than one destination, and the Unserviceable Segments feature allows routers to designate sections of a route as being unserviceable.

With this latest version of applications, school districts have all the tools needed to create accurate and efficient routes. As more districts are turning to GPS solutions, VersaTrans is constantly reviewing collected data and providing tools to our clients that help them use this data. “VersaTrans clients can now use accurate, real-time GPS points and turn them into a route. Version 9.12 of VersaTrans' web-based field trip application, VersaTrans TripTracker, now incorporates trip maps provided by Google Maps™ , and many other functional enhancements. “VersaTrans TripTracker received major enhancements in the 9.12 development cycle.  The addition of Google Maps™ gives field trip planners the ability to provide accurate directions to drivers from a recognized source, ” says John Lavazzo, Director of Software Development.
